C17 Council is a dedicated non-profit organization located in Edmonton, representing a coalition of 16 pediatric hematology, oncology, and stem cell transplant programs across Canada. Our mission focuses on the advocacy and research efforts aimed at enhancing the quality of life for children and adolescents grappling with cancer and serious blood disorders.
Since our inception, we have funded over $6.5 million towards pediatric cancer research, spearheading national initiatives that aim to elevate clinical practices and facilitate multi-centre research collaborations. Our organization strives to create a supportive network that benefits patients and families through education, training, and essential clinical guidelines, while also working closely with stakeholders to influence policies that affect pediatric care nationwide.
